2010 internationale tanzmesse nrw in Germany

The next internationale tanzmesse nrw will take place August, 25 - 28, 2010. Proposal guidelines and electronic submission forms can be found on the Tanzmesse website: www.tanzmesse-nrw.com - follow the English link to Tanzmesse 2010. Proposals from dance companies and individual dance artists can be submitted at any time, but must arrive in Germany by September 1, 2009 to be considered for the Tanzmesse 2010.

Usher for Dance Celebration performances, Annenburg Center

As a Dance Celebration Usher, you'll be required to attend a training session that will take place two hours prior to your first show call the day of your first event. Available performance dates for the 2008-09 season are:Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal on February 19th and 20th. PHILADELPHIA IS DANCING! 2009 WALL CALENDARS AVAILABLE NOW

The Philadelphia Is Dancing! 2009 Wall Calendars are available now at Dance/USA Philadelphia. Non-profit dance organizations can purchase calendars wholesale at the rate of $75 for a batch of 25. Proceeds benefit Dance/USA Philadelphia's Theater Rental Subsidy Program and, through re-sales, all participating companies. Get your calendars today!

APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE FOR THEATER RENTAL SUBSIDY PROGRAM

Launching in January 2009, the program will help choreographers, companies, and presenters access venues that they would otherwise not be able to afford. Dance/USA Philadelphia will subsidize 75% to 90% of theater rental costs for producing non-profit dance companies and organizations from the five-county Philadelphia region. Student ensembles are not eligible. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis beginning December 1, 2008, and funds will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. Participating venues will provide marketing support through such avenues as inclusion in season brochures and playbills, promotion through websites and emails, and promotional materials distributed to theater patrons. COMMUNITY ACCESS IMAC COMPUTER

Starting July 15, 2008 Dance/USA Philadelphia's Community Access IMac Computer is available to all 08-09 DancePass holders at no charge. The computer is loaded with InDesign CS3, Photoshop CS3 Extended, Illustrator CS3, Acrobat 8 Professsional, Flash CS3 Professional, Dreamweaver CS3, Adobe Bridge CS3, Version Cue CS3, Photoshop Elements 4.0 MAC, PowerPoint 2008 for MAC and Wikispaces Plus Plan. Up to three hours can be reserved by contacting us at admin@danceusaphiladelphia.org or calling 215-922-5970. Reservations are highly recommended as walk-ins are subject to availability and a 45-minute time limit.

THE ADVANCE PLANNING CALENDAR

Dance/USA Philadelphia Advance Planning Calendar is a tool to help us avoid, not all conflicts, but hopefully, the disastrous ones. This tool is designed for producing dance companies and presenters. List tentative dates as well as confirmed dates for future performances, anniversaries, festivals and fundraising events. The information is for internal use only; not for the general public.
