Local Priorities

Advocacy - Ensuring a strong voice for professional dance in cultural, economic, and political conversations around the corner, over the airwaves, and in the state capitol.

Artist Services - Including one-on-one consultations with director Lois Welk; Dance/UP Video Lab & Resource Center*; professional development scholarships; and more.

Philadelphia Dance Collection at Temple - Helping protect and preserve the local legacy gifted to Temple from the archives of artists and presenters.

Theater Rental Subsidy Program - Making more self-produced home seasons possible. Now in its second year, the program has distributed over $95,000 towards 17 public productions.

Philly Dance Showcase - Bringing presenters far and wide to town for an intimate industry platform of tour-ready companies and dance works across genre and style.
